McDonalds Twice A Day!
Before Beachbody I was eating close to 3000 calories of crap a day and yes I said it! “Crap!” Sometimes it was McDonald’s at least once a day sometimes even twice! I’ll admit I’m not happy about it now. I literally considered mowing my lawn once a week as my weekly exercise program. Or whatever walking or lifting I did for work as exercise.
Time For Change!
I finally started doing Beachbody workouts after my weight was peaking at 260 lbs. Something needed to change. I decided to stay consistent no matter what and now I’m down 68 lbs and weigh in at 197 lbs!!! I’m healthier than I was when I was in my mid 20’s!! I realized I was eating all the wrong things and not getting enough exercise. McDonalds twice a day says it all. As I fast forward one year I’m now eating between 1400 & 1800 calories a day, I do my best to keep it as healthy as I can. The best part that I’m proud of is I haven’t had any fast food in over a year now. To be honest with you I don’t plan on eating that junk ever again. I focus on my 30 minute Beachbody workouts each day to keep me on track. Over the past year I have started with Focus T25 and moved onto P90x3, PiYo, and now P90. Love them all!
My Healthiest Meal Of TheDay Shakeology!
Now I start every morning with the Healthiest Meal of the Day Shakeology and I will tell you this was a game changer for me. I work odd hours so I have to get up at 1:30am. Eating right is a real struggle. The ability to have a shake first thing in the morning was the the best way to start the day. It leaves me feeling full and satisfied. The added bonus is I’m not not craving sweets! I go to work for the entire day and when I get home is when I find the time to get my workouts in.
My Focus Today
Right now I am doing P90 as I participate in our monthly challenge groups which is one of the only reasons I still am consistent. They help me stay motivated and accountable each and everyday. I can saw now I have officially finished my 445th workout in just over a year and this is something I never thought I would say. 445 workouts!!
I Owe It All To Beachbody
In a nutshell I am healthier today than I was in my 20’s. I owe it all to Beachbody, Shakeology, and our awesome Challenge Groups to keep me on the right track of achieving success. Without all three parts I wouldn’t be where I am today and thats 100% the truth….. If I can do it so can you! I mean who really doesn’t have 30min a day to invest in themselves? I hope you decide to make that change.
