What Is The P90X Legs And Back Routine?
P90X Legs and Back workout is one of the main workouts that you will be doing in each of the three phases of P90X. Even though P90X is broken down into three different phases P90X Legs and Back workout is in all three phases. I feel this workout is one of the hardest dvd workouts within the entire P90X program. P90X Legs and Back gets me every single time. By the following day no matter how many times I have done this workout I find myself hobbling around where ever I walk and even have troubling sitting on a chair because of the extreme soreness I have in my glutes, quads and hamstrings. I don’t know about you but I embrace a workout like P90X Legs and Back because I know one hundred percent I kicked my butt with this workout. P90X Legs and Back is one of my favorite workouts that I do when I follow the P90X Classic Schedule. You just need to be ready to be sore for a few days after doing P90X Legs and Back
What Equipment Do I Need For P90X Legs And Back?
When doing P90X Legs and Back you really don’t need that much equipment. At the bare minimum you can get away with some resistance bands and that’s it. You can do a lot of the leg moves without weights and then can use the resistance bands to do the back moves. You would just need a nylon loop so you can run the resistance band through the nylon loop that is attached to a door hinge. Its rather easy to do. But ideally with P90X Legs and Back you want to have the door way chin up bar and a few weights ranging from 10-25 lbs. For my first few rounds of P90X when I did P90X Legs and Back I had the doorway chin up bar but did not have weights. I used the resistance bands the whole time. I had great success by just doing that. I had a limited budget so that’s what I did. Eventually I went out and bought the Bowflex Select Tech dumbbells and used those. But its not a necessity. A few resistance bands and the doorway chin up bar will do.

P90X Legs and Back is just under an hour. So what I think really gets you in P90X Legs and Back is the fact that you are working two of the largest muscle groups in your body. Your back and your legs. Each move is done after the next with minimal breaks. There is no standing and waiting around between sets. You are constantly on the go in P90X Legs and Back which causes your heart rate to go up and the muscle burn to increase. I am toast by the time this workout is over. As you can see its two leg moves followed by a set of pull ups. Then two more leg moves followed by another set of pull ups. This is the pattern you follow throughout the workout. I think single leg wall squats is one of the hardest moves in P90X Legs and Back. When your quads start twitching during the move you know you are pushing yourself to your limit and beyond.
Do I Need A Lot Of Room For P90X Legs And Back?
No! P90X Legs and Back does not require a lot of room at all. As with any of the P90X workouts all you need is an area in front of your couch that normally is where someones coffee maybe table is. Then for you doorway chin up bar all you need is a standard doorway to put the chin up bar in. This type of chin up bar goes up and comes down with ease. No screws involved. It holds itself in the doorway on the frame. Super easy!
