Is P90X One on One The Next Level of Fitness?
Many people don’t even know about all the workouts available to them when it comes to P90X One on One. The big question I always hear is what do I do after P90X? Can I do it again? I am getting a little bored is there something else? Well I’m happy to say that P90X One on One workouts are probably exactly what you are looking for. Basically every month for the last few years Tony Horton and his director Mason Bendewalk film a workout in Tony’s home gym in Santa Monica, California. Its just you and Tony all alone in his gym doing a raw workout while Mason films the footage. Nothing is scripted except for the P90X One on One workout moves he plans on doing that day. The best thing about the P90X One on One workouts is there are all different types. Whether you want a cardio workout, a legs workout, chest workout or whatever else you are looking for Tony has probably done a P90X One on One workout for that. My favorite thing about these workouts are the Yoga workouts. They are all under an hour and we all know how much Yoga X can be drag from the original P90X because it is so long. Lets talk a little bit more about the P90X One on One workouts.
How Do I Incorporate P90X One on One?
This is exactly what I do with my P90X One on One workouts. I substitute them for any of my other workouts. For example, I routinely follow the P90X type schedule. Monday is a chest and back day. Tuesday is some type of plyometrics. Wednesday will be shoulders and arms. Thursday will be yoga and so on. Well with P90X One on One there is a definitely a workout to replace any of those days. Tony Horton always says variety is the spice of fitness. If you do the same thing over and over you not only will stop getting results because you may hit a plateau but you also probably get bored. I am constantly changing my workouts on a weekly basis. I never want to hit that muscle plateau and stop improving my level of fitness. With P90X One on One as an option this is a perfect substitute to keep my routine fresh and my results still coming.
The Workouts in P90X One on One
P90X One on One has so many to choose from. Some of them are called Plyo Legs, Killer Abs, Just Arms, 30-15 Upper Body Massacre (my favorite), Patience Hummingbird Yoga, Fountain of Youth Yoga (another favorite), Super Cardio, Mammoth UML (Upper -Middle – Lower) etc. One of my favorite workouts is the 30-15 Upper Body Massacre DVD. You basically do 20 sets of 30 push ups and 15 pull ups back to back. Its two rounds of 10 sets. You change your hand positions for each type of push up as well as each type of pull up. Your upper body is toast by the time you finish this P90X One on One workout. Fountain of Youth Yoga is another one of my favorites. Its only 45 minutes long and hits all those achy spots in your body. No more hour and a half. So for all my P90X fans out there that can’t stand the Yoga then any of the P90X One on One yoga workouts will be a perfect substitute.
What I Love About P90X One on One
P90X One on One workouts have really allowed me to always keep my level of fitness at peak performance. Plus you will even laugh throughout the majority of the workouts because Tony is the fitness clown. So as you are working out expect to get a couple laughs in. Another thing I love about P90X One on One was latest series actually entailed the making of P90X2. For one full year each month Tony did a P90X One on One workout that had a lot of the moves in it that were going to be used for P90X2. Therefore when it came time to do P90X2 I felt I had the edge of being in better shape and knowing what to expect. They called this P90X One on One workouts the making of P90XMC2 which originally stood for P90X Muscle Confusion 2. But when all was said and done Beachbody kept it simple and called the newest program simply P90X2. There is also One on One workout sheets that you can get right through Team Beachbody which allows you to track your progress each time your workout. This is a pretty cool added bonus.
