Turbo Fire Review – Why You Will Love This Program!
So after doing a little bit of Turbofire with my wife and once I started writing this Turbo Fire Review I had a pretty good idea what Chalene Johnson, the trainer in Turbo Fire was all about. Chalene truly loves to dance and is a big fan of having great music during her workouts. She feels that working out shouldn’t be a chore and we all know working out to slow boring music can really make your workout seem like a drag. But I learned in this Turbo Fire review that Chalene herself mixed some great songs with her new workout moves. This motivation will make you want to jump higher, kick harder and simply push yourself out of your comfort zone. Chalene has come a long way from Turbo Jam to ChaLEAN Extreme and now to Turbo Fire. She has really turned it up a notch by introducing a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) in this program. I thought by writing this Turbo Fire review that I could give you some good background as to how this program works.
Turbo Fire Review – The Learning Curve
I will honestly say in my Turbo Fire review that this workout made me feel very awkward at first. I’m not the dancing type and this workout is a little dancy at times and quite fast. My wife loves the program and has done it multiple times. I still can’t get all the moves down! LOL! If you tell me to do some push ups and pull ups then I’m in! Let’s do it! But don’t worry Chalene has a DVD called Get Fired Up that answers some of the common questions about the program as well as give you an idea of what to expect. It will definitely put your mind at ease. Turbo Fire is a 12 week program and can be extended to 20 weeks with the Advanced classes. The HIIT training in this program which are also known as the Fire Drills are the most intense part of the workout. Its time to discuss exactly what HIIT is in my Turbo Fire review.
Turbo Fire Review- What Exactly Is HIIT? Does Turbo Fire Really Work?
I knew a little about High Intensity Interval Training before writing this Turbo Fire review but not as much as I know now. HIIT allows your body to improve your performance both through aerobic and anaerobic exercises. When you are doing the Fire drills in Turbo Fire aka HIIT you are working to your maximum intensity for one minute long. When you push yourself to this limit you burn more calories and increase your metabolism. HIIT workouts get you out of your comfort zone and truly take you to the next level. Another benefit of HIIT workouts is that during the hours following the workout your metabolism stays elevated. This allows you to burn more stored fat and more calories throughout the day! How great is that!! It was important for me to discuss what exactly HIIT is in my Turbo Fire review because this is the science behind Turbo Fire that makes it so successful .
Turbo Fire Review – The Workouts!
I wanted to find out specifically what each workout focused on for this Turbo Fire review. This is what I found out. The Fire classes focused on cardio conditioning and core strengthening. The Sculpt and Tone classes focused on total body sculpting and core strengthening. I think the Stretch and Core classes are obviously self explanatory and last but not least the HIIT classes focus on the after burn effect. You get 12 Turbo Fire classes on 10 DVD’s. Let me list the workouts that you will see in the Turbo fire schedule for you right here in this Turbo Fire review. The number after the workout correlates with the length of the class in minutes.

The EZ classes are still intense cardio based classes but not as intense as the HIIT classes. Don’t be fooled! They are far from easy!

My goal in this Turbo Fire review was to let you know that if you are looking for a fast paced cardio based workout with great music and a lot of motivation then Turbo Fire is for you! I know a lot more females that do this program than males but like I said I even gave it a try myself for awhile. I definitely felt the motivation in the group class and enjoyed it quite a bit.
