My wife Kristen and I started the reset on Thursday, April 26. We were both very excited but a little apprehensive because we didn’t know what to expect. When we got the Ultimate Reset package we were very excited to see that the Nutrition Guide broke down every meal that you need to eat i.e breakfast, lunch, dinner for all 21 days of the reset. Furthermore, how to make each and every meal was right there for you to read and understand. The best part was the grocery list. The reset is broken down into 3 phases. The grocery list is also broken down so you know what you need for each week/phase. So Kristen literally printed out the grocery list and brought it to the store. She was able to locate the vast majority of the groceries at A&P, but did have to get some of the items at Mrs. Greens, a whole food store. Things such as Himalayan Salt and Braggs Liquid Aminos were not at A&P. The people at Mrs. Greens were very helpful with Kristen and made it quite easy to locate everything. It did take her about 2 hours to get all the shopping down. However, a lot of what we got for the first week will be enough for the second week. The condiments which was a big portion of the grocery list will last way past the 21 days.
As for the supplements the Reset breaks it down for you basically down to the minute. It is a very simple chart to follow. i.e. 30 minutes before breakfast take Mineralize, Oxygenize and Optimize. Then don’t eat again for at least 2 hours. They give you a small handy bag so you can carry around your supplements for the day.
You will drink a lot of water and they recommend distilled water. It’s a little bland but you can add a piece of lemon if you want. We have been drinking close to a gallon of water a day.
The meals themselves taste very good which is a bonus. This isn’t one of those cleanses where you are eating the same thing for 3 days. This is truly a healthy way to reset your body. After the first week dairy and meat is cut out so it does turn into a vegan diet the last two weeks. But you are eating a well rounded group of healthy foods. Some foods that you probably didn’t even know existed but the recipes taste so good. One recommendation I have is to prepare your foods in advance. We didn’t do that for the first few days and it was hard to prepare everything while trying to work full time and take care of our three kids. We will be doing that starting this week to make things a little easier.
Kristen and I did suffer from headaches during the first two days. This is totally normally and is a way your body is detoxifying. They should subside within a day or two. I’m currently on Day 3 and do not have a headache which is great. We were also pretty tired the first two days. We were both in bed quite early. Literally after getting our three little girls to sleep we were right behind them.
Working out it is not recommended which is very hard for me. I miss it already!! They only suggest short walks or simple yoga. The reason for this is when you work out it puts your body in an acidic state. If you do this your body will not be able to totally cleanse and restore itself because it will be working on recovering from your workout. So essentially your body will be working against itself. You will not lose your strength by not working out. You actually may gain strength after the reset. When you consistently work out your body never actually gets a chance to repair those small muscle fibers. With the reset you are giving your body a chance to recover and therefore will actually gain results.
I will be updating the blog so check back frequently. Oh yeah I LOST 4.2 LBS IN THE FIRST THREE DAYS!!!

Day 5
Ok Day 5 is just about done and I feel great!! No more headaches at all and mentally I feel awesome. I have been aching in my hamstrings which is odd but actually normal. Remember this is an extreme internal workout for your body.
I did yoga this morning and couldn’t believe how tight I was. I can normally put my palms on the floor without a problem and I struggled to touch my shins. Crazy stuff! But I know its part of the process.
I have been loving the food. The recipes are so good. I just tasted a soup for tomorrow. Zucchini cashew and it was awesome. One piece of advice I have is prep your food in advance . Our fridge is quit full but trying to prep every night for all three meals the next day is hard. My wife Kristen is great and decided to prep for a couple of days in advance this past Sunday. It’s a lot less stressful.
So that’s it for now. Here is a quick video.
Day 14!!!
